Eggsellent is a bright and bubbly café chain that serves gorgeous breakfasts and joy all day. I had the pleasure of designing a set of illustrations for their new gift certificates cover and other uses.
The client has prepared a description of the distinct quality of each letter portraying some aspect of their brand values. A fun project to take on for someone who's experienced synaesthesia with letters as a kid!
While I had considerable artistic freedom creating this work, I utilised the signature egg-shaped letters seen in their logotype to link the new illustration to the existing brand identity. The rest of recognisability relies on the corporate colour scheme of pink and yellow and the general festive feel.
This was a lot of fun to work on and also a challenge. Both me and the client are happy with how it turned out, and I hope to create more exciting projects like this in the future.
